Buy engines

Buy aircraft engines with the records reviewed first.

Complete engines, modules, QEC kits and APUs — assessed for condition, life remaining and documentation before they are offered.

Overview

Engines are only as good as their paperwork.

Thameside trades engines and APUs alongside airframe material, drawing on assets purchased directly from operators and lessors and on our own teardown programmes.

Before an engine is offered we establish what matters to a buyer: condition, green time, life-limited part status, shop visit history and the completeness of the records. Where something is missing, we say so.

That applies equally to modules and engine build-up parts recovered from part-out, which are traded with the same documentation discipline.

Process

How an engine purchase runs.

  1. 01

    Requirement

Tell us the engine type, rating and whether you need serviceable green time or a part-out candidate.

  2. 02

    Availability

We confirm what is in stock or being acquired, with condition and expected timing.

  3. 03

    Records pack

Log books, LLP status and shop visit history are shared so your technical team can assess the asset.

  4. 04

    Transaction and logistics

Terms agreed, then transport, stands and export documentation coordinated in-house.

FAQ

Common questions

What engine condition do you offer?
Availability varies between serviceable engines with green time, run-out assets suited to part-out, and engines held as teardown candidates. Current status is confirmed on enquiry.
What records come with an engine?
Engine sales are supported by the records held with the asset — log books, life-limited part status, shop visit history and trace where available. We tell you what exists before you commit.
Do you sell modules and QEC as well as complete engines?
Yes. Modules, QEC kits and engine build-up parts recovered from teardown programmes are traded alongside complete engines and APUs.
Can you support a lease or exchange instead of a sale?
Structures other than outright sale can be discussed with the team depending on the asset and your requirement.
How do I start an enquiry?
Send the engine type, thrust rating and your intended use to sales@thamesideaero.co.uk, or use the contact form. We will confirm what is available now and what is expected.
